'><p><div  style=' margin-top:20px; margin-bottom:30px;'  class='hr hr-custom hr-center hr-icon-no   avia-builder-el-3  el_before_av_codeblock  avia-builder-el-first '><span class='hr-inner   inner-border-av-border-none' style=' width:50px;' ><span class='hr-inner-style'><\/span><\/span><\/div><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '   itemprop=\"text\" ><p>In 1995 Giuseppe Vizzotto bought his\u00a0first plot of land in Mansu\u00e8, located\u00a0in the east Veneto area between the\u00a0rivers Livenza and Piave, to which he\u00a0gradually added others.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-two hectares are covered with\u00a0the characteristic geometrically planted<br \/>\nvineyards that bury their roots into the\u00a0clayey alluvial soil typical of this land\u00a0that has been worked and naturally\u00a0adapted to vine growing.<br \/>\nThe vine-growing and wine-producing\u00a0enterprise has been growing year by\u00a0year.<\/p>\n<p>Villa Alm\u00e8 has a fully-equipped winery\u00a0boasting state-of-the-art technology.<\/p>\n<p>The production comes from totally\u00a0replanted vineyards where great\u00a0attention is paid to cultivation\u00a0methods without losing sight of the\u00a0organizational and production principles\u00a0that ensure constant product quality.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to vinification the winery\u00a0also ages red wines, such as the typical\u00a0RABOSO PIAVE, in wooden casks.<\/p>\n<p>Raboso, a wine from the Veneto region\u00a0with a decisive character, which has\u00a0a long and old tradition behind it, is\u00a0making a highly successful comeback.<br \/>\nThe Veneto peoples consider it a wine\u00a0of commemoration or of nostalgia.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<div  style=' margin-top:20px; It is made from two\u00a0different varietals: raboso del Piave and\u00a0raboso Veronese. The first is autochthonous,\u00a0while the second has been in the Veneto\u00a0region for at least two centuries. The wine\u00a0is a deep ruby red that with ageing tends\u00a0to turn to a garnet colour; the bouquet is\u00a0fragrant, marked, typical, with hints of violet\u00a0and sometimes marasca cherry, which are\u00a0accentuated with age; the flavour is dry,\u00a0austere, aromatic, with just the right touch\u00a0of tannin and a slightly acidic underlying\u00a0taste.<\/p>\n<p>It must be aged for a minimum of three\u00a0years, at least two of which in barrels, and\u00a0have an alcohol content of no less than\u00a011.5% vol.<\/p>\n<p>It would seem that its name comes from\u00a0that of the river Raboso, a tributary of\u00a0the river Piave, or from the dialect word\u00a0\u201crabioso\u201d referring to the sharp and\u00a0astringent nature of the grape from this type\u00a0of vine species. It is, however, a wine with\u00a0an important history.
